Attack Swings Bug

So I just finished a game, and something really frustrating happened. I was about to land the final swing to kill a myth unit, but mid-swing my unit suddenly decided to attack the wrong target. Because of that, the myth unit survived.

Honestly, this feels like an AI issue. Can Achilles’ movement speed or targeting be buffed? Atlanta wouldn’t have had this problem. My unit was literally riding a horse and still couldn’t snare or finish properly. Situations like this really put me off the game, because this just shouldn’t happen. Btw I know that MYTH UNIT can outrun it, however HE DID SNARE HENCE WHY THE ADDITIONAL SWING which DID NOT GO THROUGH FOR NO REASON.

Why does my opponent get away with this kind of AI “luck”? The myth unit never left line of sight. Normally, if you start a swing, you get the hit. It shouldn’t matter how fast the target is moving—if someone swings, they should deal that hack damage. But for some reason, that didn’t happen here.

Seems like the attack was cancelled due to a change in target.

probably Achiles was following the myth unit for a long distance, there is a distance where they turn back or search another target. So to prevent turning back or changing target renew the target by selecting Achiles and targeting the myth unit again. This every 30 meters maybe, i dont know

better share the replay file and time.
