Not at all. saracens Feudal Archer rush into Castle Crossbows just ends games.
They now have half the benefit of Mayan Obsidian Arrows, without having to get a Castle an an UT.
Not to mention that Mamelukes just melt Eagles, Heavy Cavalry, Infantry and Siege.

please just run some tests.
ive run about 20 or more tests, with simultaneous fights of huskarl v shotel, some times lines vs lines, sometimes group vs group sometimes 1v1.
the lower the troop count the fairer it is with 1v1 depending on who hits first. in the larger battles the longer spread out lines the huskarls win more often, whereas in between its generally an either way, with huskarls tending to win
AND HUSKARLS ARE CHEAPER THAN SHOTTEL and do not contend with their primary tech line (shottel contend with both the siege and archer line for teching, which makes them even less viable in a team game)
100% agree, i think its almost pointless using viper as a benchmark of how good a faction actually is…
Ethiopians have Hussars and greater attack radius on their Mangonels, 2 very viable counter to Huskarls (Huskarls lose to Hussars easily). Not to meantion faster firing Archers, which go through the rest of the Goth Infantry, and even Huskarls if they are behind other troops.
Ethiopians have all the tools to beat Goths, including getting a resouirce boost every time they Age Up, which means that the Ethiopians player should always have a tech advantage over the Goths player, at least until mid-Imperial.
Greek Fire UT gives increased damaged vs Ram for Castles as well as +1 range to fire ships. Basically, the obsolete effect of Boiling Oil which the Persians lost becomes an additional effect.

Either make bloodlines available or reduce the costs of Elite Cataphract Upgrade from 1600f and 800g to 1200f and 600g and Logistica from 1000f and 600g to 800f and 400g. I prefer Bloodlines.

Elite Teutonic Knights receive +1 pierce armor.
Slavs
Elite boyars +1 melee armor.

Jaguar wariors -5f cost
Lithuanians
They feel quite lackluster while the missing last armor upgrade for halbs makes them poor trash units.

Relic bonus gives +1 attack per relic for knight line and cavarly archer line. Max +3.
Solid suggestions, only things I really disagree with are a Jaguar+Samurai buff (both civs are already high tier, and both units have a good use as is). Don’t think the Rattan bonus could be implemented without creating a new armor class, but I guess that isn’t infeasible. Portuguese, Koreans, Magyars, Huns, Burmese, Malay could all use buffs.
They really do need an eco bonus. Maybe every animal killed = 20 extra food (sheep, boars, wolves, etc). And Corvinian Army also lets the Magyar Huszar be trained at stables.
Responding to everyone who is saying jaguar warriors need a buff: Please no! Aztecs are clearly a top 5 civ (in my opinion even in the top 3), they aren’t a civ that needs buffs.
