Bari scenario 4, the computer attacks less than 10 minutes into the campaign with overwhelming force. Red has teutonic knights and cavaliers, green has two handed swordsmen and blue betrays the player and uses knights and throwing axemen. Impossible to build an economy in such a short time.

This is a bug, probably hard and moderate are coded the same way by mistake.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start Bari scenario 4

  2. Die

:backhand_index_pointing_down:The player is suppposed to be able to create some kind of army…maybe some pikemen or something before being attacked so savagely by the computer.

Its not buggy. Build three gates around your castle’s walls, another one south in front of that pile of gold and you are fine against everyone. Build one or two extra TCs, go Imperial Age and get your Cataphracts with Imperial UT. One castle production might be a bit slow, but still is enough to overwhelm your opponents. Blue’s castle can easily be trebed down with two Trebuchets and 10 Elite Cataphracts protecting them, you dont needto destroy anything else on Blue’s base. Them you can go to Yellow (treb down 4 Stables), Orange (Treb down one tower and they resign) and Green (Destroy its whole base, might be better to build a Siege Workshop and train rams, while your Castle trains Cataphracts). Or you can go first to Grey and Red. Cataphracts anihilate Teutonic Knights.

I watched a video by a guy who calls himself Ornlu the wolf and used his strategy of petarding Capuas castle right at the start of the game. Afterwards I mined the stone to cause the rockslide to disrupt the trade between red and green. It became really easy. I still would say it is buggy, for a good reason: there is only one strategy to beat this, if you dont petard Capuas castle it is practically game over. Blue is excessively aggressive. Petarding the castle is cheesing the scenario, pure and simple. If you dont do that you will never be able to boom, build several town centers, cataprhacts or anything, you will be drowned by blue red and green attacking, and they bring siege to tear down the castle.
