Teutonic Paladin is kinda unique, chonky and slow. Why not let it have its own model kinda like how the Poles and Lithuanians get cool looking Hussars?

I definitely agree with you! Have the Teutons get this Unit in place of the default Paladin. Since the Lithuanians have a new Hussar, the Teutons deserve their own unique Paladin even more !!!
The unit is ready, just swap it

Honestly, having it as an event earnable thing would be a really neat solution.
Haven’t had any enthusiasm for any of the current event unit/building skins so far since most just self-vandalise your own game.
That knight though… That’s beautification. If only it was the Teuton Paladin.

Teutons are already balanced as they are and that crusader knight is overall worse with 120HP
I could be fine if is a second UU, like the Flaming Camel is
