Best camel civ?

I’m also playing them as Pocket btw - war wagons ftw!

I should try them then!! Awesome! I liked Slavs because their boyars made me remember king Arthur’s movie in 2004 shouting RUUUUUUUS HAHAHA it’s been a long time now we’re all middle aged men

But don’t overboom with koreans pocket. Just make an all-in with war wagons and try fokus down one opponent after another. And you must coordinate with your flanks, sometimes they need to make some support units, cause archer + war wagon is heavily countered by skirms.

It’s not that koreans pocket is easier than any knight civ, just different - and you will confuse your teammates if you don’t lead them properly.

What civ do you think it’s super fun but people don’t use it?

Currently? I think Sicilians. Donjon Rush and/or castle drop as flank can be absolutely hilarious in Teamgames.

I saw some guy spamming elite sergeants, Jesus Christ were they invincible, they destroyed everything and everyone

Honestly while those two bonuses are pretty good I wished the damage reduction bonus was decreased. Its so hard to balance that Im not sure there will be a sweet spot for the civ

Has anyone actually experience with the new sicilians as pocket? How strong is that imp tech?

It’s still objectively worse than Paladin for TG. 40 HP difference, much less attack. It doesn’t pack nearly as much of a punch. It’s even less good when facing a Paladin specialist civ (e.g. Teutons).

It is pretty good in 1v1 though, but you still dont want to engage against halbs, you sure survive more hits, but it’s still not a cost effective trade. So unless you think you can snowball/end the game right there and then, it’s not a good idea to throw them at halbs. Also, Cavalry Archers are still a PITA, again your cavalier survive longer, but you also don’t really have any way to kill them.

I’ve basically the same opinion… But I’d like to see it in action or get a first-hand impression of that. Cause in practice the 1 more pierce armor can have a huge impact in TG, and Sic eco is also quite strong, so maybe it makes them finally viable as a TG pocket civ?

It depends, in early Castle Age Byzantines Camels are the best ones
