With Denmark as a dlc and Egypt as a revolution the devs have a change to do a nod to aom. Just a little Easter egg. Like giving a card in the Egypt revolt that lets your vills build a monument, that generates exp instead of favour.
Could do something similar for Danes, a card giving extra xp from fighting.
Lacking a greek revolt, slightly tweaking the house of Phanar tech to have their mountain monasteries to look more temple like and give a little xp when gathered from could work.
I would like the devs to add models and other AOM elements to the AOE3 data so that they can serve as easter eggs, skins, and can be used in mods, scenarios, campaigns, etc.
A possible full integration between AOE3 and AOM would be ideal (similar to what happens with AOE2 and Return of Rome) in order to be able to combine all the elements of both games in mods, but perhaps it is too much to ask.
Maybe, the Legendary KRAKEN will be added to Treasure Guardians.
In fact, the appearance of this monster has been solidified into the image of a cephalopod in modern times, and the mythical “Beast” has already served as the TGs, so there is no problem.
Or you know, how about actually adding a Greek revolt?
Mt. Athos has nothing to do with classical temples so that would be wildly inaccurate, bordering on offensive by conflating them with paganism. That being said, the Phanar Monasteries could have a more accurate look like one of the domes pictured below. Technically the MM model isn’t even close to accurate for Ethiopia either.
