Adding the Bohemian civ in itself was a disaster, because now it’s more than justifiable to add the other main HRE civs into the game, and rebrand Teutons as the… uh… Teutonic Order.
Or Crusaders civ

Yeah different unit skins is a big undertaking but changing architecture sets to another existing architecture set should not be a big task and the evidence for doing so seems pretty compelling.
If they made bohemians Eastern European purely to give a contrast with Teutons in the campaign thats pretty weak to be honest plenty of people won’t even bother with the campaign anyway. It would be like giving the Franks the Italian building style so they contrast with the Britons in the Joan of Arc Campaign.
I’d at least like to know why they made this desicion but the AOE2DE team don’t seem interested in feedback not related to balance which is understandable to a degree but a shame.

Greetings. I’m a hardcore multiplayer player hovering around 1200 1v1. I play campaigns only every once in a while and haven’t play a single player skirmish in years.
Still, I love the historical aspect of the game and it is in part what keeps me enganged. So, whenever balance is not affected that much I’ll always supports changes towards a better representation of history. I want bohemians to get central european architecture and persians with the central asia one.
I also care a lot about the aesthetics, so small trees, grid, no snow and such are a hard no for me.
And like me there are many many others along the same line of thought.
The best thing about this request is that people who don’t care about the historical background of the game wouldn’t care about this harmless change, while people who do would have a better experience with the game. No one loses.

The developer had adds Poles and Bohemians including Lithuanians with new Campaigns as full playable civs, then Microsoft could well include the Teutonic Order in a further DLC. The Order had historically to do much with all of these civs. Crusaders would be a good thing for Age and welcome by many players.
The Teutons should stay like they are because they were the German representative of the Holy Roman Empire, but not to be equated with the Teutonic Order as an independent state.
He meant the Teutonic Order as a civilization. Then they are a civ

First you say that it is not civilization now it should be a civ you contradict themselves.
What i can tell you for sure is that the Teutonic Order was a state independent of the crusaders.

Sure it is contradictory. In his second post he wrote exactly that, which cannot be overlooked.
