Played a random single player with Britons; it was weird to hear their monks answer in Byzantine taunts (Presto, Salve, Impero, Correctus, Sane, etc.)
Briton monks speak Latin (same as Byzantines and Italians) in the original AoE II as well. It’s intended, in the Middle Ages, religious institutions used mostly Latin language.
