If we accidentally press (Q) instead of clicking on 2nd Age buildings (W), we get stuck there.
A suggestion in this case, if you press the W key for a while and switch to the W key again (2nd age buildings), it would be very useful.
Hey @Atabey342399! Would you mind explaining a bit deeper with what you’re seeing/hoping for here?
If, while trying to access 2nd Age buildings, you accidentally press Q and get “locked in” to the hotkeys for 1st Age buildings, you can tap the ESC key, which should “unlock” your hotkeys and allow you to press W to get to the 2nd Age buildings. Does that make sense?
Thanks!
Pressing Esc is an annoying thing to do, you have to move your entire hand off from the normal position to do this. Could we please be able to change which button corresponds to which age?
I would love to be able to set age 1 2 3 and 4 building groups as num 1 2 3 and 4.
Then if I accidentally go to age 2 buildings I can simply click 1 for example to change back to the correct one, and not move my entire hand to reach ESC and then have to move my hand back and then press another keybind Q to get back to age 1 buildings.
Actually the solution is simple!!!
AGE -I-
AGE -II-
AGE -III-
AGE -IV-
Aslında çözüm basit!!!
AGE -I-
AGE -II-
AGE -III-
AGE -IV-
This would be a much better system than the current one, I dont really understand why they ditched the separation between eco and military buildings.
You’d still be stuck if you accidentally press Q/W, which is OP’s original complaint.
I don’t see it as a big issue because Esc is an option, but if they change anything I think it should be simple/low risk. For example, when you’ve selected a menu, make make it so you can switch to other ages with Shift + <same_key>
Discussion heard! Thanks, all! I’ll get this feedback logged so we can start tracking it.
very thx ,
I believe you everything will come to a much better place in the game…
An offer:
If you use the “V” or “B” key to switch to other eras, we can solve the problem with a quicker and one less click of a button without having to go to the “ESC” key at all.
thx!
