The interaction between Delhi’s Howdahs upgrade and the Sultan’s Elite Tower Elephant seems to be bugged. Although the Sultan’s Elephant does get +30% maximum health from the upgrade, it does not receive +4 ranged armor like the normal Tower Elephant.

Thanks for checking it out and taking the report seriously. I have like you also tried to reproduce the bug, but have also not been able to do so. It might be because I haven’t followed the events that led to the bug, or that my eyes had deceived me.

I have been able to load my previous game where I had this bug. I now see that in this loaded game, both tower and sultan’s elite elephants don’t get the ranged armor after the upgrade:
This was a game against AI, starting in Age III. My guess is this bug is tied into other bugs. I realize this isn’t much information to go by - maybe it’s just good to put this one on the watchlist and see if it happens more often/in other situations.
