In the new PUP, randomly when I select a group of villagers, there are no command buttons present to make them do anything. This is not just an issue with the User Interface, as the hotkeys don’t work either when this happens. To fix, I have to reselect all the units again. Then, magically, both the buttons and hotkey commands for these villagers begin working again.
(This bug may also affect military units, but I haven’t noticed as much of an issue with them.)
It has happened to my wife and son during games also (we play on 3 different computers - all Windows 10 with the Steam version of AoE2:DE). My wife and I mostly use hotkeys, but my son mostly clicks the buttons to tell the villagers to do things (repair, build, etc). Again, it is not every time, but when it happens, the units (villagers) have to be unselected and reselected to allow them to be given any commands (i.e. for the build/repair/delete buttons to appear and be functional).
