They cant do too much vs civs that can spam a lot of infantry cause the lack of canons and the bad pathing of mahouts. Also the lack of mansabdars on the battlefield doesnt help unlike japanese daymios.

This is true. That’s why they are not top of the line and just a mediocre civ.

If you are losing to merc pikes, then you need to improve my guy. its not that India is absolute terrible in treaty, it is just mediocre.

Well IDK about him, but you certainly haven’t played. as for me, I have had my fair share of playing India extensively in team n treaty (winning/losing). BTW I would recommend you to check the stats on those “merc pikes” ones .

but the treaty players only talk about how to buff it and not how to actually balance it so that there is a balance between treaty and supremacy.

No one asks for buffs ! just for a revisit n re work that it deserve.since almost every civ in this game had it already, except the asians. especially India.
