ISSUE EXPERIENCED
When viewing briefing for campaign, I try to adjust the volume via the roller-wheel on my Logitech keyboard to hear the narration better, but the game treated it the same as hitting the (Esc)ape key and so it skipped the briefing… went straight to the match.
Side Note: I also I consider the briefing narration as a “narrator”, so I expected its volume level to be tied to “Narrator Volume” in the settings screen. However, it is tied to “Voice Volume” instead. That doesn’t make sense to me… seems like an error. Recommend tying the narrator’s volume for campaign briefings to, “Narrator Volume” in Audio tab of Settings.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Go into single-player campaign: “E. Europe” > “Jan Zizka” > “The One-Eyed Wanderer”. (Probably happens for all campaigns, though)
- On the briefing screen, try to increase volume of your PC using the volume wheel on a Logitech keyboard (i.e., attempt to increase the volume of your WinOS)
EXPECTED RESULT
- The volume should increase or decrease. The briefing should not get skipped.
