Campaign ideas

I mainly play aom for the story, fan of the original the fall of the trident and the titans. But i feel like the newer campaigns have no depth, so I’m suggesting some campaign ideas that i really wanna see in future aom retold updates.

-Arkantos vs Theris, prequel campaign with lot of naval combats

-Amanra vs Kemsyt, prequel campaign before meeting arkantos

-Tale of the dragon, remastered, with more depth and more levels

-if hinduism is coming as a new dlc pantheon, The Ramayanam is must

-A new Chinese campaign, Mulan as the protagonist, fighting the Mongol

-short campaigns with charecters like Setna, Odysseus, Reginleif, General Malagius, Agamemnon, etc

I like to hear more suggestions

Tale of the Dragon is already remastered on Retold…it’s in the mod finder, it’s incredible and I even got 3 achievements playing it with the Chinese …

Yes, that’s what the mythic battles will be for… if they do it like AoE 3, they could even be cooperative at some point…

Some users suggested a pantheon based on the ancient Vedic religion, a precursor of modern Hinduism. The architecture might resemble that of the Puru in Chronicles.

The Chinese and Japanese deities (not sure if all of them) are also still worshipped, though their depiction in pop culture seems to generate little to no controversy (for Hindu gods it would be a different matter).

-Momotaro or peach boy campaign, I’m not so sure if this will work

-Events after The Titans campaign, kastor fixing his mistake but some worshipers of kronos try to stop him

-a campaign for kamina, redemption arc maybe?

-since Tezcatlipoca is still alive, maybe he can team up with other gods of chaos, mischief and manipulation

I’d like to see campaigns based off real myths. An Odyssey campaign or a Jason and the Argonauts campaign or a 12 labors of Heracles campaign that sticks closer to the real mythological stories of those characters could all be really cool. (I’m sure there are options for other pantheons as well, but Greek mythology is the one I know a bit more)

There was some standalone scenarios in the alpha version of aom and the extended edition that not a lot of people know.

-“Close to home”. This scenario follows reginleif who has to destroy Hades underworld passage to save a village.

-"E3 2001 Story showcase " this was unique beta scenario for shown at E3 2001. Summary:

Misenus arrives at a nearby city, going through a nearby mountain range a short distance from the city center. Upon reaching an allied Hypaspist, Misenus dismounts his horse and converses with him. Upon reaching the allied army, Misenus takes command and must lead the city’s army to defeat an unknown enemy, presumably lead by an early version of Gargarensis (represented by a Cyclops).
