Can NOT create Clan and clan tags in Devnagri Script (Hindi / Marathi etc)

  • GAME BUILD #: v. 100.15.30007.0
  • GAME PLATFORM: Steam
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10

:play_button: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

  • Not able to create a Clan name and Clan tag.
  • IMO the game having trouble to consider "Matra"s / Vowels in Devnagari Charachters are As each Charachters are Consonants+vowel(s). But the game accepts words that contains only ConsonantsL
    Like : सबल,
    But rejects सुबल

Even though these are all within the charachter limits.

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:play_button: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create a clan
  2. Use Devnagari words (हिन्दी, भारत, क्या) for the tag and names.

:play_button: EXPECTED RESULT

  • Should be able to create a clan with name and tags containing Devnagri tags.

I suggest you to create a support ticket. Maybe the text itself gets false banned ^^

Theere was athere was an ackowledgement mail, but nothing after that :confused:

This problem is literally making the language unusable for clan names.

Its like you take away all the vowels and some consonents from english. how can one make a clan name etc, with less alphabets.

Update and Hotfix already here but this is not resolved. and this is not even a Big bug to solve.

waiting to be resolved. Hoping this is addressed in the next patch.

I wanna create a clan but I cant due to this.

As this bug doesnt allow me to write the correct letters.

Sadly, this is not issue only in aoe3
You will notice it happens in all games, because the community team ( support ) sadly doesn’t fix it…
