Canine Companion Voice Priority

This is something kind of dumb but has been bothering me all these years…

Is there a way to not make the canine companion’s “voice” take priority when they’re grouped with other units?

Hi, welcome, I see it’s your first post on here!

Obviously, the reason for the dog barking taking priority is that the dog is louder than all other units. Dog > gunfire, dog > artillery fire, etc.

Jokes aside, I agree that the dog barking can get annoying and this should probably be changed.

Simply use the tab key, and the unit that appears on the tile is the one that will make a sound.

Voice responses to clinking and action should be completely reworked anyway. It’s just so annoying. For example, look at how Dota 2 works in that regard: voices are not played all the time you order an action/select. Only sometimes.

Maybe it’s because it’s a heroic unit.
