As stated in the title, I cannot get the game to boot properly on the PortingKit version of AoE3: DE.
I encounter the following error log:
“Your video hardware does not support DirectX 11 which is required for Age of Empires III DE.”
“Age of Empires III DE requires at least a 1 GB video card. This computer appears to have a 0 MB video card.”
“Your video hardware does not support DirectX 11 which is required for Age of Empires III DE.”
The port installs successfully, but I cannot select “attempt to run” like I could in the past when this error dialog pops up. How do I solve this? I changed the launch options to the intro thing.
As far as tech specs go, I’m on the 2018 Macbook Pro with a 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 processor. I’m running OSX 15.7.4 Sequoia.
