In all the other Age games you can convert units and go above your population limit. While being unable to convert units above your population limit is how the game works now, I feel that this limitation should be removed.
In the game today you’re able to go above your population in the campaigns when you are gifted reinforcements, so converting units above the population limit is technically possible.
