I had this issue when last patch was released.
If you or your friend create custom game, join that and there should be tick box for cross play. After that should let you cross play

I am playing this game on the Xbox Store version for PC.
In the previous season, enabling the “cross input” option allowed crossplay in custom games.
However, in the current season, even if that option is turned on, crossplay is no longer possible.
This issue has happened every time when I get update. Can I request refund from Microsoft?

Yesterday I tried to play with my clanmates, and it didn’t work because every time a Quick Match lobby was created, he never joined, and after a minute the lobby would close, and I would get a disconnection error.
I didn’t ask him if he used Xbox or Microsoft, but it could be. Also, the opposing team was experiencing spontaneous disconnections in the middle of the match.

I found some curious problems.
can: invite someone(steam) to my custom room or group
cannot: be invited by someone, I couldn’t get any notice.
I made group and let host invite my group member, it didn’t work, only my mate was invited and left me alone.
too many fake online friends in my friend list.(ordinary 10〜20, now 80〜100)
ranked match queue are unstable.
