Forgive me if this is a stupid question but is there any way to use either the Original CD AI, the Conquerors AI, and HD edition AI in the campaigns? I’m asking because I’ve heard these AI’s are a little more manageable than the Definitive Edition AI and some people would rather enjoy the campaigns without too much difficulty, and leave the challenging stuff for random map games and multiplayer, because some campaign scenarios can be pretty frustrating even on Standard difficulty, for example I played and finished the Saladin Campaign on Standard difficulty in the HD Edition and I found that the Lord of Arabia Scenario is much easier in the HD Edition than it is in the Definitive Edition.
