Centaur Sound in AoM: Retold - Horse Neigh?

In the classiacl AoM, the centaurs’ voice was entirely human, which made perfect sense, as they are mythological beings with a human upper body and not animals. However, in the remastered version, they emit a horse’s neigh when they speak, which, honestly, sounds terrible.

Has anyone noticed this and also found it strange?

*I don’t even want to imagine in the campaign, Chiron’s voice with that horse neigh, it must be embarrassing, haha.

I found it to be a clever touch, so speak Greek with horse-like trill. They’re supposed to be half-man and half-horse, so it kind of makes sense.

The robotic or demonic Egyptian mythical voices, however — those are pretty disturbing, especially Scorpion-Man.

Considering most Centaurs are considered uncivilized wild savages in the myth, I would say it’s actually an improvement!
