Is it correct that hero Chand Bardai cannot convert?
If yes, why does he have a range?
Maybe it’s his healing range?

This is actually intended, though I understand how it can be confusing. Chand Bardai has been a healer-only since he was introduced via The Forgotten DLC for HD.
