Change the Elephant Archer

I mean, monks aren’t strong because they heal, they’re strong because they can convert. That’s their big strength, and they cost 100g for it.

Elephant Archers are more expensive than that and yet do less damage than an arbalest and wouldn’t be able to convert. The actual healing amount might need to be tweaked but I think it could work.

Suppose elephant archers were buildings, that would give some ugly results leading probably to a lot more complaints:

  • Multiple elephant archers dieing to a single petard (or maybe you need 2).
  • Elephant archers being shred by Mayans with obsidian arrows.

I think the current system of which unit has bonus or defense versus what other units is already complex enough, please don’t make it even more obscure.
