Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. set the z-axis for the building to 0.
  2. The buildings that initially existed on the map has work.
  3. new buildings can’t pass through.
  4. del the new building, The original position still cannot be passed through.

You are correct. Buildings placed at the start can be passed through.
However, structures created after the game has begun or those constructed by villagers cannot be traversed. Additionally, even after deleting a building, its collision volume persists, and repeated deletions can lead to game crashes.

not sure about trigger but with AGE it works

I tested the map more than 500 times before identifying the issue causing crashes related to the Z-axis. Since the DLC update, When a building’s corpse is set as a building with modified Z-axis:, leading to various crashes and synchronization errors. I spent a significant amount of time on this issue, and as a result, I’ve released over 60 updates version to my map to address these crashes.

Thank you for your response. It appears that, indeed, triggers cannot modify the Z-axis of buildings to 0 until the official fix for this bug is implemented. Hopefully, that day will come soon.

bumping this, recently someone mention this can cause crash, not sure if its related but I’ll bump this just in case. video below shows crashing, its basically a custom building made up with like 10 parts that some has z-height of 0 and annex within, when dying they cause crash randomly.
