Chinese heroes (especially versus Norse) so OP it is a joke

I mentioned this before in a Great Flood post. Chinese massively outweigh Norse and needs fixing.
There needs to be a limit on Pioneers firstly to something like 20 (if not less).

Secondly, there are Chinese heroes who just WON’T DIE. I mean it is an absolute joke. You can have 30 upgraded units in Age 3 or 4 (playing as Norse here) and they will simply all be killed by one hero.. If you have two Chinese heroes it is even worse.. everyone dies.

I simply cannot play the game like this. Whoever tested this before release needs to be shot.. seriously WHAT is this..

Once the Chinese start building tens of pioneers and a couple of these God-like super heroes (who aren’t even expensive).. it just becomes impossible to beat them. No myth unit can survive more than a second.. okay, with enough Godi and raiders you might be able to beat the pinoeers, you still get wiped out by the invincible heroes

(It actually almost feels like the other guy is cheating when they play like this.. that’s how bad it is.. tens of pioneers and invincible heroes.. can do nothing.. the game is boring.. no myth units can be made or do anything at all.. one of Loki’s abilities is to generate myth units.. well that’s pointless).

Pioneers cost less than Godi and take up only 2 pop versus Godi 3 pop.

The two fixes I think: pioneer numbers need to be limited.. a bit like the favour-gathering oracle..
What’s more is that every pioneer can set a balloon and see everything that’s going on
Secondly, what the actual F are these invincible Chinese heroes? Am I missing something here? They can just sit there killing everything.. they have lifesteal or something.. so yeah they are impossible to kill.

PLEASE MAKE THESE BALANCE CHANGES
(Like I say, I have specifically found this problem when playing with Norse against a Pioneer spammer.. I have also once had an ally who pinged his Chinese hero who he sent in completely alone to the enemy base and just survived there killing everything for about 10 mintes..) I mean this is beyond a joke surely

The problem is that the Norse do not have efficient long-range military units to counter archer spam. That’s the major disadvantage the Norse have compared to other pantheons.

Raiding Cavalry and Huskarls are useless units to counter archer spam unless you’re facing novice players who only send archers without units to defend them.

I disagree, Chinese are low tier civilization now, you can check on aomstats all the gods are way under 50% winrates.

They already got a huge nerf, if you nerf their heroes again, it will be a disaster.

If you change the elo filter to 850-950, you will see that the number one god is Shenong by a HUGE margin. Kind of explains why the only game I won vs a China player recently was when I built a titan.

I’ve just seen it, it’s surprising. However, it would be illogical to nerf based solely on an elo bracket. If you apply 0 to 1400, which is roughly the range of “non-pro” players, the Chinese are well below the other gods. The same applies to the pros. In fact, you soon realise that it’s the Atlanteans and the Nordics, especially Freyr, Gaia and Cronos, who are well above the rest.
