I forget to add The Nine Sons of the Dragon earlier. The picture has been edited and uploaded.

I’d like too see The Three Pure Ones as the three major gods.
They are essentially the manifestation of the Tao and they were the three ‘holier’ entities in chinese myths.

But thing is Taoism seems to be more of a secular philosophy rather than an actual mythology, maybe the Jade Emperor and other deities would be more appropriated to portray in a game like age of mythology.

I avoided using the The Three Pure Ones because in some ways I want them to retain the same choices done with the Greeks, Egyptians, and Norse. That is, not really using the primordial deities but opting to use the more famous ones instead. The Three Pure Ones are interesting nonetheless!

i really like your ideas as always and appreciate some guys here like you are so into other mythology i personally don’t know much about.

i personally think they should emphasize on the yin and yang harmony.
what i mean by this is there should be as equally as possible:

  • male and female gods
  • male and female creatures
  • male and female soldiers

just my opinion tho!
