Can Choose Your Mutation be removed from the mod shop until the creator fixes it so it doesn’t instantly crash your game upon clicking on it? I can’t even uninstall the mod because it crashes when I click on it. The creator either needs to update it or the mod permanently removed from the game.

you can desactivate a mod by going in C:\Users\UserName\Games\Age of Mythology Retold\SteamID\mods and delete choose your mutation folder in “suscribed” ones
If it doesn’t work, open myth-mod-status.json, find choose your mutation and at “enabled” replace “true” by “false”. You will be able to start that way.
That didn’t work either unfortunately, still stuck on the mod manager list crashing my game whenever I end up hovering over it. The creator has literally played the game recently and hasn’t fixed the mod even though it is BY FAR the most broken mod on the shop.
Other solution, go there : Mods Subscribed - Age of Empires - World's Edge Studio (in mods subscribed), and choose Aom:Retold on the right then remove the mod with the bin
What you could do is also telling it to the support here : https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to let them know of the issue
Btw the creator may have the mod disabled this they doesn’t know it crashes.
