Chronicles: Battle For Greece civs playable against base game in unranked?

Hey, I play lots of AOE II in unranked games with my friends, I never really play ranked or single player. It’s clear that the three new civs in the new Chronicles: Battle For Greece DLC will not be available in the ranked civ pool, but will they be available in non-ranked multiplayer games with the other base game civs? My main motivator for playing this DLC is multiplayer and if you can only play the three new civs isolated that would be a bit of a disappointment (although I think they plan to add more to the Chronicles series). Any ideas on this?

(I also understand that these civs wouldn’t be balanced with the other civs but I think it would be fun for us casual-local-multiplayer type)

When you’re playing Chronicles you’ll have both the Chronicles civs and the base AOE2 civs in the skirmish/multiplayer civ selection. You NEED to be playing in Chronicles game mode, just to be clear. The Chronicles civs won’t show up in the normal AOE2 civ selection.
