Besides, we all know that Chile is the best country of Chile
I was thinking that the card âViceroyalty of New Spainâ could be renamed as âSystem of Viceroyaltiesâ and unlock the haciendas for the Spanish or perhaps you could add cards like âViceroyalty of Peruâ that send 2 Prospector Wagon and Soldados, as possible idea
Returning to the main topic, I have thought of some cards that could be added whether Chile is Civilization or Revolution
- If Chile had Haciendas unlocked, it would add a card called âCasas Patronalesâ that support 10 population and cost -10%
- A card called âInquilinajeâ that increases the passive production of Haciendas and reduces cattle training time by 10%
- A possible card called âRevoluciĂłn Liberalâ that turns villagers into Rotos
- A card called âArmada del Pacificoâ that that increases the limit of frigrats, their attack and hit points
Perhaps some of the ideas will interest the developers, it is still great to imagine more content for Chile
Chile is a very beautiful country, greetings from Colina 1 Carcel (Venezia)
Thereâs a lot of people from Little Venice there, though
I deliverately avoided putting Haciendas in my civ designs because they warp civilizations too much. Haciendas do too many things and make the economy of the civilization pretty much revolve around themselves.
They are fine for Mexico as the civ is, indeed, designed around them as an integral part of the civilization, but if every Latin American country gets them theyâd start feeling the same very, very fast.
So Iâd rather explore other venues of design.
Speaking of which, I updated the design in the first post, nothing big, just shuffled some units around. Got a friend who pointed out thematically the Chupilca fits better with the Rotos than the Civicos and that, itself, allowed me to give the roster a tad bit extra flavor by making it less standard, Unique grenadiers isnât something that has been explored a lot by the main game, so giving Chile an unit that functions similarly to the Humbaraci, although by other means felt like something interesting to add.
Iâd love this. I personally really like revolts as age 5 alternativesâand its a good way to flesh out different countries which canât really be their own civs.
Considering current events (PUP), maybe in the next patch they will turn Chile and Peru into imperial level revolutions.
PS: In the PUP, there are files that seem to indicate that there will be more European revolutions soon, I bet they will be similar to the French revolution.
I agree, a potential chilean civilization doesnât need to be a copy of mexico.
PS: Hopefully you also do concepts for a potential Peru, surely we would all learn something interesting.
