Civ select when queuing

If I am queuing and I am on the civilization select screen when I get a game, everything becomes unclickable. I cannot then change civ, click ready or change colour.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Queue
  2. Open Civ select
  3. Get a match while choosing a civ.

:point_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
I should be able to select my civ, colour and click ready while there 1 min is counting down.

We could not repro your issue, can you try to do this?

  1. In steam, in AOE2 game, Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of game files
  2. Reinstall the game
  3. Unable your mods
  4. Uninstall/unable your antivirus
  5. Reinstall your graphic drivers
  6. Update direct X
  7. Delete your user files

For deleting your user files, you should:

  1. Go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE
  2. Copy your user folder to a safe place, it has lots of numbers.
  3. Delete the original and open the game again. A new user folder will be created

If this works, then copy back the files from your old user folder. Those files are in the folder C:\Users\YOUR_USER\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE<0>\Savegame, Recorded Games and Save games.
