I completed the French Civilization with new units.






Mongol Civilization finished too for adding new units.

I have fixed the bugs and model errors I found. I have changed the spawn timers for every units too. I increased the timers.

Siege weapons are like 45 seconds, 35 seconds, 20 seconds, and some of them are 80 and 100 seconds.

Same for normal units too.

12 seconds was too fast. But now there will take time to conquer another civilization.

Please if you find any errors, visual model bugs like red box etc, please write it so I can check it and fix it, thank you.

Everyone is going to love this feature the most for the Chinese Civilization. After a long testing, it is almost perfect. I fixed many bugs while applying the Great Wall into the actual gameplay.

Only thing I didn’t like about Chinese Civilization, it doesn’t have any ground shield units :frowning:

I will complete the Chinese Civilization soon. And then I will update the mod again in the game, so you can test it out. If you want any bad side in these walls, just remove that part and build from that part etc again.

Great Wall has more HP.

There is no unique units as King / Elite category in Chinese Civilization, so I get Ismail and Liu Zheng from Mongol Campaign Unit. I have changed their names while recruiting; but you cannot change the Unique Characters names in the game…

At this picture, please don’t use that Imperial Falcon which it is added himself automatically; because of the data model it is using as parent directory in the game data that users cannot change it.

I have applied tent to Chinses Civilization. Sometimes it is big but it becomes smaller if you build another building near it. Game resize it automatically for no reason… But still it looks nice.

I have applied The Great Wall to Chinese Civilization. However, there is a small problem; because of the game mechanic for this wall while it is applied to Campaign only. It is not flexible like the normal walls we build. You need to make a SQUARE concept like a fortress or a straight line.

The Great Wall is really nice and big. Thus, I increased the HP, cost and build times for these objects.

After that I wanted to use normal Chinese Walls via Chinese Wood walls / bastion / gate which I repeated what I had done for Russian Civilization to make Russian Civilization to have stone walls. However, I realized something while doing lots of testing. When you change your wall concept to The Great Wall, the stone wall bastions and wood bastions are using the same bastion parent data model, so I couldn’t add that flexible Chinese Stone Wall Bastion to wood based bastion model exchange.

I just wanted to explain the process.

Current version of the mod is v2.0.5.1 - Chinese Civilization is completed now too. If thy add new Chinese units, models, armors, weapons etc in the feature I will add them. Currently, I have added everything I can to Chinese Civilization.

If you find any bugs, red box model error or bad data mod suddenly - please tell me how is that happened in what steps.

@xtyd3941 Thank you very much for enjoying to play with my mod - even with these sudden no reason errors.

After a lot of testing, I can tell you some reasons why you we experience that sudden random “Bad Data Mod Error”. Thus, I need help of other players to find them out. It is very hard for me to find all of these errors. When I find the reason, I update the mod instantly. Therefore, please always update the mob by subscribing and unsubscribing to update the mod.

The main reason of all of these are generally because of the AI. AI cannot know how to use these new features or new units or new building features; or my Holy Site / Neutral Trade Post changes. AI only execute what is written for them to do at this game.

The other reason you might get that Bad Data Mod is “When you play a lot, or summon many units at the same time or your RAM memory cannot handle” because this game uses lots of memory and gpu.

Thus, I don’t choose the Holy Site victory condition most of the time. Only two civilizations didn’t get any new units are the Abbasid and Sultanate currently, so there will be no problem if you choose the AI with these civilizations.

But if you play against another human player, you will not experience this bad data mod %99 of the time.

We need to do lots of testing. So time to time, I play this mod with my friends like this “2vs2” with different civilizations to check things out. However, I really need help to find out these reasons for the errors. I already fixed many bugs and errors.

I generally play as Holy Roman Empire or Chinese or English or Russian to fight against Abbasid and Sultanate.

And you don’t need to make huge fights with many multiple civilizations. Generally play as 2vs1 or 2vs2 fights ;because the battles are really intense and very consistent already and so for playing the mod is quite fun.

2 Human players vs 1 or 2 enemy AI.
1 Human player + 1 AI vs 2 enemy AI.

Next time, please would you tell me which civilization you play and what is the allied and enemy AI civilizations and at which steps did you get this “Bad Data Mod Error”. I know that it happens suddenly for no reason at all, some games go smoothly and some games this error happens. I actually don’t know the main reason too. But most of the time I play, I don’t experience that “Bad Data Mod Error”. Try to make “Human vs Human” multiplayer fights too to find out in what steps you experience this error. All of these feedbacks and tests will help me to improve the mod.

At the end, to solve all of these problems. I need help and feedback from other players to do experiments as playing the game to tell me what is happening.

My favorite civilizations are Holy Roman Empire, Russian, English and Chinese (because of the Great Wall feature I added, if Chinese Civilization had ground shield units, then I had planned to add really cool new units too).

Abbasid Dynasty Civilization New Units are completed.

I have added really nice new units. You are going to like them a lot.

  1. Abbasid Camel Crossbow Grenade Launcher Unit. I have modified the Chinese Grenadier Unit for a new type of unit. I initially applied a Bow Grenade Launcher but I wanted to make the units different so I changed it with a crossbow which fits better. I will add the Bow Grenade Launcher to Russian Civilization later on as its horse-archer unit.

  1. Other new Units for Abbasid Dynasty

  2. Modified Springald to launch flamed bolts

  1. Modified Trebuchet to launch x3 flamed projectiles. There is a small movement animation problem that main body is not turning according to where you click to shoot; but the flamed projectiles are going to that area without any problems.

Now, when you recruit Abbasid Villagers, thy will cost more to produce but thy will bring two Abbasid Archer which thy will help you to protect your city. Movement speed of Abbasid Villagers are slower now; because they have a nice weapon and some armor to help the main army when needed.

Today, I have tested many civilizations to play like 1-2 hours for a single battle and I didn’t experience any “Bad Mod Data” so far.

Please let me know how did you find out the new Mod update in the game. I hope that you will like these new units too. I will add this grenade launcher feature to Russian Civilization later on via throwing grenade from bow, like “Marvel – THE EAGLE EYE” but from Russian Horse-Archer Unit.

Hahaha, I have to say that this unit is very creative, but we can’t change the action of the unit to operate weapons now, so the picture looks a little strange.

I have updated the MOD in the game again, and so you can access to these new features in the game with this Civilization Conquest MOD.

Great Wall Defense Battalions which can be summon from the Defense Towers that are connected to the Great Wall. You will enjoy the Siege more and your enemies will need to destroy these Defense Towers first if they want to move forward.

I have added an option to recruit troops from Russian Wood Camp; because I want to make Russian Civilization as expansionist civilization that is similar to history.

Note:
Only Delhi Sultanate Civilization has remained with no new features or units or buildings. I will try to complete it as soon as possible.

And time to time, I will add new things to every civilizations in the game. Thus, if you have any idea or feature you want to see in the MOD, please write a comment here.

Can you add two units to Delhi sultanate? One is Gajnal (Elephant cannon) another is Elephant hand cannon. I think the elephant hand cannon will be easy as you need to replace the archer mounted on an elephant with a hand cannon. The Gajnal can be hard as you need to place a small cannon on the elephant.

Also, I would suggest renaming Camel grenadier to “Naffatun” … or creat Arabic grenadiers units using Chinese grenadiers and naming them “Naffatun”.

There is no “Naffatun” animation related motions in the game so it is hard to implant it, so I have done it like this



I have changed some of the siege weapons ranges too. Bombard and Springald range become 60, and Ribauldequin range become 45; because this grenade launcher range is 45 (without 45 the units die so easily; because thy need to come closer).

I gave this Predator Bow / Crossbow - Exploding Arrows to every civilization except English Civilization, which their long bow range increased to 45 - to make fair. Historically, the game become more accurate and realistic now in my opinion in the game.

The game become more fun really.

And as you requested, I added “Elephants with Cannon Unit” too. Thy are slower, more expensive and more time to produce.

I finished the Delhi Sultanate too now. You can subscribe or update the mod to test it out in the game.

If you find any “Bad Data Mod” error in what steps it happens please let me know. Because I cannot understand this error at all… Sometimes the game works really nice without any problems, or sometimes this error happens…

I play with my twin with laptop and laptop’s components are lower than my computer. It uses geforce 1060 laptop graphic card, I use 3080 ti graphic card, and while I get “Bad Data Mod”, he doesn’t get anything on that old laptop… LOL really, so I really don’t know what is the exact cause of this “Bad Data Mod”, it is so random…

Note:

In Civilization Conquest Mod, to use siege weapons are very important if you want to repel the enemy and destroy their army and buildings, walls etc. I might even increase the castle walls’ HP more in the feature. If you know what to do, you can wipe your enemies are easily. Battles are so intense in this mod.

I want to show you a new feature HRE Scout has which brings a very unique gameplay to the HRE Civilization.

What I have done is to change Lithuania Ram - Siege Tower units from Campaign to turn them into “High Command and Headquarters” buildings for your frontline campaign against your enemies.

1st you need to recruit HRE Scout
2nd you need to upgrade Landsknecht from Barracks
3rd you need to upgrade Siege Engineering from Blacksmith
4th you need to summon Landsknecht to build the siege tower and battering ram from that specific unit.

After that you start building this new feature.

If you don’t counter the enemy siege units and weapons, even your castle walls with lots of HP cannot protect you. You need to play clever and always try to push your enemies.

I have re-organized the Russian Civilization to make it more meaningful while using the buildings and unit production.

Current Patch is Civilization Conquest - v2.0.6.1, and I have fixed many bugs and “Pre-Cached” red box model errors appearance when you start to play from 1st Age to 4th Age.

The current Mod is more fun to play the game now.

If you find any bugs, errors, bad data mod etc please let me know in what steps did you encounter them.

Ranged units’ ranges are increased to make the game more realistic; because the HP of all units are double and thy have armor values, so with less ranged damage - it is hard to survive or counter the enemy as a ranged unit.

With all of these changes, the MOD and game become more balanced and more fun to play. All Civilizations are completed now.

@StereoQuasar163 friend, if it possible would you play some games against different AI civilizations starting from 1st Age to 4th Age as 1vs1 to check if any “Bad Data Mod Error” happens in what steps and in which civilization?

Like 10-20-30-40 minutes there is no problem with my mod but sometimes this “Bad Data Mod Error” happens suddenly. I try to find out why. Probably because of AI that it cannot use some features so this error happens. I try to figure out in what steps this happens with in which civilization. Already when you fight against as “Human vs Human” this “Bad Data Mod Error” is not happening with %99 success rate.

I will be very glad if you would help me to give some feedback. I need mod tester players, so we can make this mod into a perfection.
