To use the hotkey editor to modify hotkeys with double click, then use Shift (without holding the key down) and then press/choose a new key, makes the clear selected button very hard to be pointed and clicked.

  1. Double click a hotkey within the hotkey editor to modify it.
  2. Press SHIFT, release such key and then assign a new (single) key.
  3. Try to clear the selected hotkey (using the ‘Clear selected’ button).

That the “clear selected” button is easily selectable, regardless of keys pressed, either voluntarily or by mistake.

in hotkey editor: ‘clear selected’ button is only clickable on it’s boarder and not highlighted on hover, if previously the shift key is presses while assining a hotkey.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the hotkey editor
  2. Go to group commands.
  3. Double click on a line to set a hotkey.
  4. Press shift.
  5. Release shift.
  6. Press a key to assign the hotkey. E.g. ‘8’. The hotkey shall be ‘8’, not ‘shift-8’
  7. The ‘Clear Selected’ button is bugged out for me.

button is not bugged out all of the time

if we follow you repro steps this currently doesn’t happen in our test, could you give us more information when does this happen and how frequently?

@ChristheCo It’s volatine, but i could find it again, because it occured mostly in my group commands:

Go to group commands.
Double click on a line to set a hotkey.
Press shift.
Release shift.
Press a key to assign the hotkey. E.g. ‘8’. The hotkey shall be ‘8’, not ‘shift-8’
The ‘Clear Selected’ button is bugged out for me.

This guy has the same issue and made a video of it: 'Clear selected' button (hotkey editor) becomes difficult to point and select

I mean: It’s a really minor thing, and the bug may be hard to find, because wpf/uwp uses the shift key in some odd/unexpected way.

This was how to reproduce the issue back in July when I 1st experienced it.
