Personally, my biggest wish would be to give all hero units a unique skin and integrate more editor-only objects (units, buildings, gaia) into the game.
This way, everyone should be happy. Those who want to keep the original game as unchanged and readable as possible, and players like me who want more variety, could have fun with their own self-designed scenarios.
If they added at least three to five new objects for the scenario editor in almost every patch, I would be extremely happy.
I still wish we would get more Native American civs.
Also for a separate Andean set and for the current Meso set and wonders to get more color and stop looking like abandoned buildings covered in vegetation.
My only wish is that 3K civs are removed from the base game and moved to a different game mode like chronicles or ror style. Its own game mode or something.
Great to see more animals added to the game with the latest July patch PUP. Can we have Alpacas added as another type of gold resource animal like foxes? Also more animals: hippos, tapirs, capybaras, giraffes, leopards, hyenas, dogs, cats, pheasants and ducks, given that hares are not too small to be added. Also terrains like the shallow water terrain from some years ago can be added in please? Like the flower grass terrain added in this PUP. Devs, please hear our wishes!
This is the way! As much work as it is, Iâd love to see more variations of houses and dark age buildings. Definitely more types of ruins with varying degree of destruction.
I also wanted AOE1 buildings in the scenario editor so I can make a city that has gone through many ages. Imagine a city with buildings from all ages.
Currently the tech tree has 3 colours assigned based on unit type common regional and unique.I would like to see a lighter purple used for allied units condo imp skirmisher and genitor.These units and any future units that can be trained by allies should have a better visual indication in tt.

I use the cheat code frequently for testing purpose or tracking bug. I already know that the achievements donât progress when you use a cheat code. Can we have a feature to disable this annoying pop up please.
Select the frequency of the sound of the you a are under attack
When the sound of alert ring every second this y very stressing. Could you add an option to limit the frequency of the sound (example : one alert every 10 seconds, every 30 second, every 1 minute, every 5 minutes, etc)
Embellishing the real world map
The Great wall map is beautiful but the other in comparison look ugly. Could you upgrade those maps with the new assets (new animal, new tree, new decoration). Specially the China real world map now look ugly without the Three kingdoms asset
I did a quick rough count; there are about 90 hero units (not counting kings, ships, siege engines, etc.) that donât have a unique appearance.
If you reskinned 5 of these units in every patch, youâd eventually have a huge selection of units that you could convert into regional units in scenarios.
That would open up a seemingly endless number of possibilities.
The unit system wouldnât change like that in regular games, but for your own scenario or even campaign designs, it would be a dream.
So, I wouldnât want anything more in this game than that. If the developers themselves donât have the capacity for it, there are certainly some players who enjoy modding anyway who could help them implement it. And I donât think the majority of those players would demand a huge amount of compensation for it. Many might just do it for fun, because theyâd be involved in the further development of their favorite game.
So, if anyone in charge reads this, please consider it a topic for the future of the game. It would make me incredibly happy. And probably many other players, too.

Apex predator: T-rex 1x hunts around TC. It has 700 HP, 5 melee armor, 5 pierce armor, 50 melee attack, 10 trample damage. It can attack buildings. +30 attack bonus against buildings.
