Could we change the Cumans Mercenaries tech?

Or maybe replace the Imperial UT (steppe husbandry) by the Castle age UT (Mercenaries) and improve Steppe Husbandry to make it more Imperial UT.

Having 5 Kipchaks (not Elite) at early castle age could be a real game changer.

Not bad proposal. This can work. All other faster production UT is Imperial if I recall correctly. So why not “Steppe Husbandry”?

It’s hard to have many castles in the early castle age but you would need to have enough number of castles to get enough number of kipchaks to make the cost of the UT worthy.

Cumans CA is by far the most wasted civ bonuses on 1 unit. I really wish Imperial Age UT makes this unit viable.

no, no, no, no, no. Flemish Revolution, First Crusade, and Cuman Mercenaries - ALL of them need to be reworked or replaced. 1 time techs are terrible.
