What is the best counter? It likely comes down to me having poor build order and economy/APM but they always destroy me. They’re the unit I find the hardest to fight against. Horsemen are meant to counter them I saw but they always get kited. Archers do better but not by much it feels like a struggle too. Spearmen do alright when close but obviously get kited. I guess I should do men at arms?
The downside of camel archers is they cost a lot. 180 food + 60 wood per camel archer, and a relatively long build time. they are strong, but best bet if your enemy plays camel archer only is to try to get to castle age and get knights.
if he doesnt have spears before his camel archers knights shred them.
