Ocelots are only good for raiding settlers.
The only thing I would change is maybe make the Cuicacalli Training tech increase HP as well by 10%
Otherwise if you tech into them they are decent
Itâs fully upgraded from Tezcatlipoca
Itâs fully upgraded from Loki
Riba:
Yea, Coyote Warriors are not terrible for their cost (85 resource). They arenât as good as Huskarl, but Huskarl are elite unit (115 resources, 2 pop).
What Coyote warriors are great at:
Tempo/Early agression. They cost mainly gold, that makes them strong unit early since Gold Gatherers donât have to relocate as often.
Raiding They are fast
Countering cheese Good against Turmas, fine against Centaurs (high pierce armor). Can even catch up to chariots.
Obviously Huehuecoytol is almost must god with them (speed and pierce vulnerability), but Patecatl is also option (healing after raids, extra hitpoints, farm economy)
Though players need to understand that Coyote warriors are not full pop unit like Huskarl. Huskarl is stronger thus will win and snowball full pop fights
q
I will add Shinobi to discussion. Would you rather make Coyote Warriors (85 resources) than Shinobis (155 resources)?
For this money, these are not bad stats at all.

Yeah Coyote Warrior arenât that bad.
Tlamanih Spearman (45 Food and 25 Gold) and Tequihua Archer (50 Wood and 30 Gold) are the only cheaper (in total resource cost) military units that Aztec can train not counting the Quimichin Spy which isnât really a military unit.
No matter the God you play as you will have at least 1 Classical and 1 Heroic age God choice that has tech(s) that will effect them in some way.
