ISSUE EXPERIENCED
DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
Buildings that are constructed on the DLC_CRACKED
terrain are supposed to take more damage, applying a multiplier of 1.2 to any attack they receive (similar to a hill bonus). However, players can place and then remove Farm foundations to eliminate Cracked terrain. Buildings subsequently constructed upon this location no longer receive the additional damage.
As long as a player has 60 Wood, they can place and delete Farms ad nauseam, since they recover all of the Wood if they delete the foundation without initiating construction. This allows players to, for example, place and remove Farms before building a Castle to avoid the damage multiplier the Castle should have received.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS) - That is, it is reproducible every time cracked terrain appears on a map.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Construct a House on Cracked terrain.
- Place and remove a Farm foundation on Cracked terrain, then build a second House on the same spot.
- Attack each House with a Mangonel. Notice the House on the Farm spot does not lose as much HP.
EXPECTED RESULT
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The Houses should have the same amount of HP, and the Farms should not remove the damage bonus from the terrain.
