:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

When it crashes I get the message that Radeon has crashed and the screen turns green, I wait about 30 seconds and the graphics automatically restarts and gives me video, but, when it comes back to life, the objects are black boxes as I show in the photo.

I have done everything, believe me, reinstalled, formatted completely, I even bought a better power supply since one of the “green screen” problems is lack of power, but nothing, absolutely none of this has worked for me.

Is random, sometimes it happens after 30 minutes of playing, sometimes after 2 hours, etc.

  • 70% of the time / matches I play (FREQUENTLY)

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. As I mention above, this is pretty random. It’s worth mentioning that I only play Custom Games.

:point_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
Well, on Steam I have already seen people with similar problems, something that should be paid attention to. It is a common good for everyone.

:point_down: ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

:point_down: Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.
I get this message when I want to upload the saved game: “Sorry, new users can not upload attachments.”

But it does let me upload an image.

Any solution?, on Steam are more than 30 posts about crashes since recent updates

Well, I haven’t played much lately (which is also why it’s discouraging to be in such an intense, almost 2-hour game and this crashes), but it happened to me again, exactly at 8:08 PM GMT-7 (which is equal to 3:08 AM UTC)

Reviewing the Log I realized that a Line with that schedule is missing and this error appears: IDXGISwapChain::Present: hresult = 0x887a0005, Device lost reason = 0x887a0007

This has become unplayable, since practically when a game goes on this happens no matter what.

So many months and no solution on this.
