Issue: Game just crashes

I updated the latest patch (March 4, 2026). Game crashes.

Trigger Event: Start the Game, Wait. Crash

I start AOE4. Game crashes either at the menu or shortly after matching with someone on ranked.

Repro Steps:

  1. Start game
  2. Wait… then crash
  3. load into ranked match… then crash

Update: the game now crashes out during ranked matches as well.

Update 2: When I disconnected, my units are still “live” in-game with my team mates. Only when I re-launch AOE4 do my units in-game disconnect.
