Crashes on PS5 when closing out game

Issue:

Game crashes when closing game from PS5 menu.

Trigger Event:

Happens every time you go to the main Playstation home screen and select the game and choose the option Close Game

Repro Steps:

  1. Play a campaign scenario till the end
  2. Go back to main menu in game
  3. Go to PS5 home screen and select Age of Mythology game icon and select close game.
  4. You will see “closing game” on overlayed on screen for about 15 seconds and then game crashes with error report.

This will only happen after playing game for a while (maybe 30 mins). If you enter game and leave immediately it doesn’t crash out when closing out game.

Deleted and reinstalled game and problem still exists.
