 I am creating a custom civilization with a fully custom set of buildings. Said buildings were imported into the game utilizing legacy methods, IE textures baked into the model instead of separated into materials. For over a year I’ve had to deal with the issue that when testing games units would just get stuck into the battlefield, still count as units for the enemy, would never disappear, and they’d get stuck repeating the animation they were playing before reaching 0 hit points. Today I reduced the cause by removing all the models imported using this method.

 How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!

  • 50% of the time / matches I play (FREQUENTLY)

Frequency increases the more models you import using this method.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Import models into the game utilizing legacy methods IE having the textures baked into the model, rather than separated into materials files with a separate texture file to read. You will need a significant amount of these for the effects to be noticeable.
  2. Play a game with a civilization using these models, multiple will probably be necessary.
  3. Fight against another player.
