I was reading about Denmark so I wonder what flag they are supposed to have. Swedes in game has the war flag represented on the buildings so I prefer same for Danes too.
What is your opinion about that?

IMHO they should keep the same type of flag for all civs…

Going off the chart you have here Sweden has the State or Civil flag in game. So Denmark should have their civil flag as well to match.
Not all civs used the same kind of flag though? Some didn’t even use flags in this time period.
It is true that Swedes use Civil flag in game but partly. If you look carefully ingame, the flag that is waving on the buildings is the war flag.

I think the simplicity of the flags is the most aesthetic.
While the Danes civ flag could simply be the same as the modern Danish flag (which has been in use for almost a thousand years), it is more difficult to choose a flag for the Polish civ - the flag presented during the stream will simply refer to the rule of the Vasa dynasty in the PLC.
The most appropriate flag for the PLC civ
Just peel off the coat of arms of the Vasa dynasty from this flag.
AoE 3 classic had terrible made up flags.
