Best Resolution to play the Game “AoE IV”

Which is the screen resolution is your monitor?

What do you think is the best resolution to play AoE IV, and how many inches is best to have the screen?

While they could say that more is better, I feel that by having more pixels, you can sometimes lose focus of the entire larger scene.

The thing is that I want to buy a better Monitor that supports HDMI and well, I need to know if it would be better to add more inches, or if I would rather stick with a small one. For the current one I have several capturess.

This is my current resolution at 1600x900 in Medium quality (Not even High and it already looks great) with an 8 GB graphics card.

I don’t know how it will be for the rest, if you can post your captures to compare it would be great.

You will notice a GREAT improvement by going to 1920x1080 (full HD). I recommend you a 24 inch monitor with this resolution.

Less inches would be too small, and 27 inches is too big for a full HD considering you play near the monitor (in a standard distance).

If you want something more, go with 27-32 inches 2K resolution. It depends also of your graphic card. If you got a good one, go for 2K, if it’s a normal one, go for full HD.

I played for many years in 1920x1080 in 21 or 24 inches, and when I get to 2K 27 inches at first it seemed too big, but now I can’t go back.
