why are people afraid of active abilities, can add so much flavor to the game if unit have abilities, stances etc. that way fights wont be the same every time and someone who have better control of his army will always shine

Suggestions for Delhi:

• 1.- Additional single unit.- Give it one more unique unit, if possible in feudal (Ghulam for example). They will have to do so if the IVC wants to differentiate itself sufficiently from Vijayanagara.
• 2.- Elephant Stampede Ability.- Give some ability to elephants, such as “stampede” to accelerate a few seconds and be dangerous, but obviously it only lasts a while and has cowldown, so at least they reach the enemy base in time and remain a force of danger.
• 3.- More technologies.- For elephants to move faster, in the Aoe2 is the Mahouts, which increases the speed 30%.
• 4.- Lower cost.- Maybe that makes them more viable.
• 5.- Consider that in the future some new civs with elephants, will need to be used if they want to feel that they have utility. If not, Delhi won’t be the only civ where people won’t play elephants in imperial, at least in ranked 1vs1.

I agree on these, but don’t think they need them all together. Just giving elephants a good enough stampede ability might justify everything else about them, for example. Instead of also lowering cost etc

I also don’t think they need ghulams unless all the other civs are getting new UUs.The civ is already fairly complex to use. Adding more units could make it even harder to play.

HRE for example only has landsharks. English have LB. Delhi are already ahead on UUs, with a very different eco and tech management system
