Bombards and spears both have extra dmg vs elephants. I will agree outside having shear mass advantages, countering elephants require a bit of finesse. I think that’s a good thing!!

All this I believe for 1v1 games. Teams and FFA are different games altogether esp given how both the latter to mentioned give way to omega spams/ultra masses of unstoppable premium units.

For example if a dude masses 100+ Tuetonic Knights and you run out of kiting space? What do you expect to be the outcome? :thinking:

Bombard don’t have bonus against elephants. Okay they do have +50dmg which is almost nothing.

Having spears and bombards against just elephants just doesn’t work. The pointy boys melt in a second to those machinegun crossbows and handcannoneer elephants without even able to land a hit or just one hit
