Deluxe edition for Microsoft Store?

I just noticed there is a deluxe edition on Steam after I preordered the game on MS store.
Will there be dlc let MS store players access deluxe edition content?

Idk but to be honest the MS Store compared to Steam feels very crappy .

Do yourself a favour and buy it from Steam. If you end up feeling the game is not for you, at least you have the option to return it. Deluxe edition just gives you cosmetic items, art and soundtrack if you are into that stuff. Take care.

Nobody is beating MS Store. I have purchased Sunset Overdrive and the first two DEs from there. I have 0 problems with the storefront. I have a problem with the lack of refund policy though, that’s why I suggested buying it from Steam. AoE IV could either be a great game or a great pile of ■■■■.

Yes it’ll be. But price tag is too high it’ll be better to wait for reviews and then buy it.

With this price tag, Pre order without seeing actual gameplay, not great advice to give someone.

I wrote that before checking steam’s price tag on it for my country.

It’s even cheaper than US. It’s 34$. I thought if it’s 59$ in us then it’ll be around 100$ in India. But it’s not. 40.38$ for digital deluxe. It’s nearly 20$ cheaper than the standard one in us.

In gamepass this game is available day 1. I am a huge MS Flight Simulator fan and was so lucky to have been playing the new Flight Simulator without even paying $60. So far I have revived my subscription twice and I got to play tons of games for like $100 in total. Try it, you won’t regret it

7 weeks left, it’s still isn’t fixed?

I don’t know what mesmerizes me more: there’s people preferring Microsoft Store to Steam, or there’s people willing to pay 20 extra bucks for the soundtrack and a couple digital thingies.

I have my AoE games from MS Store, so for the DLC I would need to buy main game again on steam.

Also sooner or later are discounts.

So true.

I had so many annoying problems with the MS store.
Just go to the Flight Simulator Forums, after every patch there are a lot of threads about the game not updating.
You literally can’t play the game because you have to patch but you can’t patch because the MS store didn’t find the update yet.

With AoE3 (no idea about AoE2) it seems like the MS store version sometimes gets updates later and you can’t play online, but at last you can start the game.
And I think the betas are also Steam only.

You don’t run into that many issues when you never play directly after an update (depending on your time zone that might be in the night anyway) but if you want to try out new things it’s annoying.

But the MS Store not even having the Deluxe edition proves that they only use that platform because they have to. Probably also because of GamePass.

I bought a lot of games in the microsoft store. All Age of Empires, Flight Simulator and more. Never had a Problem with updating. But in the Flight Simulator Forum I have read from other peoples with problems that they should have install the Xbox Gaming App. If they are installed the games should get the updates instant from the microsoft store. I have the Xbox App installed and never had a problem.

It is still not fixed. 3 weeks left
