What changed according to some constructive feedback from @GoldenArmorX , @Moonshadow7475 and especially @TheLiberator236 :
- i made her generally more chubbier to emphasize on her “matronly” description (thanks for pointing that out!)
- beside my previous version i let the AI change her facial expression being more serious/stoic/a tiny bit angry
- i also gave the input to add a fitting necklace to hide her chest more for a bit more conservative approach and to emphasize more on her status.
Thanks again for all the interesting and helpful feedback i think now it really looks better than before!
- I really hope WE will see this and change it accordingly.
*the image changes are all made by AI and not by me personally, i just had the imagination and gave the input accordingly.
EDIT:
I wish you all great and harmonious christmas holidays. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
(to all who celebrate it)

Why is she in a wheat field but has grapes and berries in her cup?
maybe you weren’t there when the ingame statue of Demeer got share. she actually hold a sickle and a horn full of fruit in her hands.
you should better right WE and complain about it since she clearly doesn’t wield those in the statues of her in all the museums you clearly visited. and screw fantasy and imaginative creativity, right?
also why is poseidon wearing this kind of circlet and has barnacles even he clearly doesn’t have them in historical statues. (this is a try to be sarcastc so don’t take it seriously please)
I still go with the glowing eyes version as it fits pretty well with the other Greek Gods, but nice try indeed

the glow eyes topic is a topic of its own it seems.
i know some ppl like the glowing eyes more and others like @kjohnhayes not. and thats fair.
i personally am open for both. i get the no-glow cause it makes them more “historical” but i also get the glow cause it makes them more supernnatural and elevates them from ordinary humans more.
i just really like consistency thats why i - originally - always made major gods with glowing eyes, since many others - as mentioned from you - have them. especially when from one specific pantehon like greeks or nords ALL have glowing eyes (thats why i think Freyr should have them too even i really like his art).
I don’t know the reason why some major god portraits have glowing eyes and others don’t. Would really like the thought process behind it but i assume i will never get an answer to this and maybe its just random (?)
anyway here a new version with subtle glowing eyes again:

How about something like this?
Or with this more ferocius expression

surely! i originally had her eyes glow orange but and wanted to make the eyes glow like that again after you mentioned it but then i looked at all the brothers of her and poseidon and hades both have more blue/white-ish glowing eyes.
i think the moe organge/yellow glow suits her well, i agree. also interesting you didn’t like the mount olympus implication in the background it seems. i made this change cause i felt Moonshadow7475 wanted more connection to the greek pantheon and i thought maybe its not obvious enough.
the very angry face… i think the face looks good but i am personally not a fan of neither the expression from the currently offical portrait from all this started nor a very aggressiv looking. i understand many want her too look more serious cause since all other don’t smile or looking “soft” but still i think it should have limits. but nice try!

Yeah is pretty interesting how it come
I think more of her serious look stands for his grief for Persephone kidnapping by Hades
How about this set?

what i like:
- the differnt approaches in actions and positions
- still fitting vibe
- the faces are pretty
- her face isn’t that angry anymore
what i don’t like that much:
- the other siblings don’t have a more active action (out of my head just Thor comes into my mind)
- most “pose” like for an artist
- the throne is interesting but doesn’t make sene in a grain field/looks out of place
- her face looks a bit too young (i know AI tends to make that but i agree with the criticism i got that she shouldn’t lool very young. especially since imo the other siblings don’t look young (could be a cool alternative skin tho!) and i would only tend to make her skin that smooth if her hair would be a bit more grey. (you or me could actually try gray strands of hair for exmaple?)
a general problem i often encountered - like in making a different approach to Kronos in another thread i- s that AI seems to have problems in making sickles and scyths correctly especially in a more action orientated pose like you tried in the top right one.
i personally like the bench one fits more but then her sickle maybe be resting on her lap? the sowing fits her aswell and i would like it but again: the very majority of major gods just “pose” for a fictional artist (the viewer?)
suggestion about the throne one: maybe make the grain on the right and left? add a fruit tree behind her throne? or even cooler make her throne out of roots maybe even out of roots growing above the ground and the chair back is an actual tree! good or bad idea?

Yeah this is pretty nice
Only a less detailed background and gotcha!
You have a new direction for the portrait
But why is she sitting on a tree hehe?

great! your posts are inspiring!
what about this:
primary changes:
- less detailed background
- made the branches longer
- changed fruits to one specific: pomegranates (cause of her daughter)
other version with just the following changes.
- changed the specific fruit to figs which were also culturated in ancient greece (and have pretty leaves) (maybe pomegranates should remain a Persephone thing?)
- added more light to emphasize on the hole season thing

also liked your idea with sowing grain very much!
even tho i still think it looks to action-orientated and less “majestic” for a major god i really liked your idea and give it a try - with a lttle twist!
hope you like it!
made a few changes:
- addes a cape to empasize more of her status especiaally during that less majestic action
- added some leaves for the symbole of season
- light a bit more dramatic
(but i don’t think this will and should be her official version. i tried to let it look still divine but i think it looks still less “majestic” - but i wanted to give it a try too
)

Very nice depictions!
thank you so much
how about this?

more “simplistic” in a way but i do like it.
what i like:
- her face/expression
- her pose (looks divine)
- i also like the idea of the “oranus-like” ring floating behind looks really great in my opinion!
- the hole perspective of the background
what i don’t like that much:
- its not that much in the style of the current ingame portraits but i personally think its a divine-worthy depiction!
question: the moon was intentional i assume? any specific reason? looks a bit out of place especially how its positioned in front of the clouds. ^^
I really don’t like the glowy eyes. Doesn’t help that the game is inconsistent with who gets them.
Oh hey there!
A fair point! I think everyone respects that!
But TheLiberator236 and me discussed this maybe you understand why we went along with it. at some point you have to chose a directiona (we can both change a specific version to your liking and remove the glowing eyes
)
Gods portraits are already very inconsistent
The thing is if she have not glowy eyes she would not fit, cause the other three major gods have glowy eyes already, dont you think?
