This technology is never researched in any game unless game reached super late game where you get all upgrades.
It is built from tc so you will lose on 4 vilagers while researching and its really expensive so its not worth getting.
How it can be fixed: remove carry capacity bonus and give it real economy bonus for example for farms or something. And move technology to temple so you dont have to lose 4 vilagers while getting this technology.
It is 40 sec research time so a bit more than 2 villagers. But I agree, it should probably be in the Storehouse instead of the TC, and cost a bit less.
Not probably it should for sure not be in tc unless its buffed extremly. There is not a single game where its researched unless game is like 30 minutes. Unique god tech should be like gods identity every god in game has viable unique tech. This is just useless
The tech is bad, but cmon, you are full vills way before that point.
Sure, but thats not really the case, theres some pretty bad ones for techs you either dont get at all unless you are cheesing or after you when you afforded all other things.
It seems the “design” for this tech was to have some sort of synergy of healing the werewolves, but in practice is horribly expensive, slow and trains slowly.
If they decide to keep it on the tc def should reduce the trainning time. Besides increasing gather rate could also make farms cheaper to make the transition cleaner. Or at least affect all resources
Yeah, I dont really like that its based on pans myth unit. That is stupid design choice. They should probably reorient tech for general use, something like change you mentioned
i totally agree more and better farm techs and also change/improve werewolves so they actual feel better and are more fun and useful to use. (when i had the most fun with the unit was in bot games when you had plenty of ressources but this shouldn’t be the “to go” scenario for this unit.)
Double vill on farm is just farms 50% cheaper, but in a game where everyone hunts while farms are rarely seen even on Oasis, having a greek god heavily focused on farms would be a breath of fresh air, something different.
I was expecting that for Demeter tbh, but they went for a different path with questionable results in the end.
I don’t even get why healing farms are in mythic age while the tech that increases population in heroic age either.
Healing is much more valuable in heroic rather than in mythic age; also feels strange that Hestia, as the goddess of hearth and harvest, doesn’t have access to any kind of healing-related tech or godpower.
