DLC - request to the developers

I think an Italian campaign would be interesting, like all the stuff that led to the birth of the Italian kingdom in 1861

It’s already not possible to get 16 balanced civ, pls no more!

The colonies are? Are. Please stop whining. Saying that Japan makes sense in this game and Poles don’t make sense is stupid. Poland had colonies because her subject had them (Courland). Japan was a closed state.

True - Africa is missing in the game. For Luck there is hope for Africa (Somalis, Berbers and Ethiopians are already in the game - historic battles). Just wait for them to add them - probably even for free as part of the update.

I will scare you - there are more of them already :ghost:

Why if they don’t have a colony?

This is the best comment for opponents of the new civilizations

Poles

Home city: Cracow

Ruler: Zygmunt I Stary

New additions for Poles:

  • Szlachcic - explorer’s counterpart, can train winged hussars

Royal guard

  • Winged Hussars (hussar) - heavy cavalry with a charge

  • Piechur (musketeer) - ranged heavy gunpowder infantry

Unique units:

  • Zaporozhian Cossacks - Ruthenian light cavalry

  • Lisowczyk - Polish cavalry archer

  • Kurp - can construct Berry Bush . Equivalent of Coureur des Bois, but not very durable (exists alongside regular settlers)

Civilization bonus: Has an extra type of Settler — Kurp — which fights better but for it is less durable. Also has the strongest cavalry unit in the game — the winged hussar.

That was said for aoe2 DE, here we have 2 more civs.

AOE 3 DE is the next on the list to receive a new expansion to recover the fallen playerbase after the disastrous bug.

This, we need this unit as the most broken thing ever in the franchise so people will be soo attracted to aoe3 again (Heavy cavalry costing only 90 food, 80 coins, with very devasting attack and the hability to charge everything, and cards to improve thir stats and bons damage vs infantry then another one to give them increased stats in groups, people will forgot that Coustiliers or Steppe Lancers existed).

So what kind of Polish units do you recommend?

Winged Hussar no?
I mean people want to see this unit added

In my opinion, the Winged Hussar could be an upgrade to the existing Hussar. Cosmetic change on promotion. Taken idea from Ottoman Bostanci.

Examples of Polish (Lithuanians and Ruthenians too) music from that period:

Quality post, would love to see something like this ingame.

It’s nice, thank you

It took me a while to create it (2 hours :joy:).

I invite you to your own ideas for civilization. I showed you Poles because I am interested in their history - besides, I am a Pole  :sunglasses:
In it, I wanted to present its richness in diversity - you will find so many different nations in the country, except for Poles, in Austrians - nowhere else as many - Poles, Lithuanians, Russians, Belarusians, Latvians, Tatars and more.

Rzeczypospolita Wielu Narodów - przybądźże! (Commonwealth of Many Nations - come!)

Potentially available in the European DLC only:

  • Austrians

  • Poles

  • Italians

These are the most important (missing) civilizations of that age.

An alternative to the rest of civilization would be the European natives. These would be small “towns” based on natives already known in the game. The best base for this is the Jesuit Mission. It is enough to replace the buildings with more European ones. And thus one could add: Bavarians, Swiss, Venetians, Cossacks, Serbs, Danes, etc. The architectural styles and their cultures of these “towns” can be divided into:

  • South European (Balkan, Mediterranean) - Catalans, Sicilians, Croats, Serbs, Bulgarians and Greeks

  • North European (Scandinavian, Baltic) - Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Sami and Lithuanian

  • Western European (British, French) - Scots, Irish, Belgians, Bretons and Swiss

  • Central European (German, West Slavic, Carpathian) - Saxons, Westphalians, Czechs, Silesians, Hungarians and Romanians

  • East European (East Slavic) - Ruthenian, Novgorod and mysterious Slavic pagans (wololo wololo)

There are no mercenaries or salons on the European continent. There you will be able to train unique “natives” units in their towns. You can use ready-made mercenary units, for example:

  • Swiss - Swiss Pikeman

  • Belgians - Fusilier

  • Scots - Highlander

I think this is the best solution to the European case in AoE 3 DE. Playable great civilizations, smaller as natives giving units. The trade route system would also be there. Only Trading Post would have a new look (architectural style based on natives, e.g. Mediterranean or Slavic) and a new icon.

Summarizing:

  • Three new nations

  • New European natives
