In other war games I have played, troops get certain boosts from terrains and weather. Like, troops receive reduced range attacks when they are in a forest, and they move at a lower speed in a rocky area. Cannons may fire at a slower rate when it is cold.
How about in this game?
Not at all. Doesn’t matter.

Weather mattered in Empire Earth 2 which effected unit LOS, speed and probably unit range.
